It was a lot of work (and I do have some quite talented minions, even if the design was mine; I couldn't have done it without them), but it was worth it. Unfortunately, a lot of the bits (half the struts and all the bolts) went missing shortly after we shipped it back to Christchurch, and need to be replaced.
Those anti-shipping mines were a lot simpler to build, and you can swing them around your head too:
If the wheels were larger we'd have problems with turning, we'd need to spoil the line of the tank with wheel arches or mount the wheels internally (which would either cause a structural weakness or require us to increase the weight and complexity of the structure)
